​Youth United Grades 4-12

Friday, January 3rd, 6:30pm to 8:30pm at First Church Sunday School Area

Youth United is a faith-based, community collaboration, youth social group for grades 4-12th. This is a community-wide group for any kid, from any church, with or without one. We are aiming to create a safe space where our children can be surrounded by positivity and good morals. Click here more information

Main Street Tavern Fundraising Night

Thursday, January 23rd, 4:00 to 10:00pm at Main Street Tavern, 218 Main St., Monson

Once a month, First Church hosts a fundraising event at the Main Street Tavern, Monson.  First Church receives 10% of the evening’s proceeds.  The public is welcome to attend.

 

Also Note that First Church has requested tavern nights for 2025, beginning with January 23rd and February 27th. Church Council decided that raffles will be optional in 2025 because many church members felt overwhelmed this past year as they contributed to multiple raffles.  As of early December, total receipts from 2024 tavern nights totaled about $5,400, with approximately $2,000 from raffles and $3,000 from sales at the tavern.  Thank you all who supported tavern nights in the past and please continue to enjoy food, beverages, and fellowship at the Main Street Tavern during 2025.

Conflict Resolution Workshop 

Saturday, February 1st, 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon in the Fellowship Hall

Pastor Jack will be offering a Workshop on Conflict Resolution and Interventions for Healthy Congregations. The workshop and training is is open to all. Mark your calendar!

Annual Meetings

Sunday, February 2nd & 9th, After Worship in the Sanctuary

We will have two church meetings, Annual Meeting I on February 2nd and on February 9th, there will be Annual Meeting II with a Special Congregational Meeting. Both meetings will be held right after worship. There will be special fellowship times after both meetings. February 2nd will be a celebration of Pastor Jack's time with us and February 9th will be a reception for the new pastor.
