St. Patrick's Day Dinner & Irish Music with Sarah The Fiddler

Saturday, March 22nd, 5:00pm in The Fellowship Hall

 On Saturday, March 22, the trustees invite you to a delicious corned beef and cabbage dinner, prepared by Chef David Sanborn and his assistants. The dinner will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, followed at 7 p.m. by a rousing concert of Irish music in the sanctuary with Sarah the Fiddler. The food and entertainment will be superb. Get your tickets by calling the church office 413-267-3312 or seeing Suzanne Kelley each Sunday. The last day for dinner reservations is Wednesday, March 18. Cost is $25 for the dinner and the concert.  Concert tickets only can be purchased at the door for $10.

Main Street Tavern Fundraising Night

Thursday, March 27th, 4:00 to 10:00pm at Main Street Tavern, 218 Main St., Monson

Once a month, First Church hosts a fundraising event at the Main Street Tavern, Monson.  First Church receives 10% of the evening’s proceeds.  The public is welcome to attend.  Please stop by and join friends for dinner or pick up some take out for the evening. Instead of holding a raffle, we are asking everyone in the congregation who would have participated in the raffle to put $5, $10, or more into the jar that Suzanne Kelley will be holding after today’s service. Church Council hopes that this No Raffle/Raffle will take some of the burden off those who must purchase raffle prizes each month.

Easter Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast

Saturday, April 5th, 9:00am in The Fellowship Hall

First Church will be hosting an Easter egg hunt and pancake breakfast.  The day will begin with a pancake breakfast at 9:00 a.m.  The breakfast is $5 and free for children under three.  At 9:30 a.m. we will have story time, egg coloring, and arts & crafts.  The Easter egg hunt will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will feature pictures with the Easter Bunny.  Please help the homeless and families in need served by the Springfield Rescue Mission by bringing packages of NEW underwear, socks and t-shirts for men, women, and children.

Movie Night

Friday, April 11th, 6:30 in The Fellowship Hall

Movie night will be showing “The Passion” in the Fellowship Hall.  This movie is mainly for adults and any teenagers whose parents are OK with them viewing it. They need to know that adult discretion is highly encouraged because of the content.
